What the REET application expects

REET is the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers. Candidates fill an online form and attach a portrait and a signature, and the upload has to match the format printed in the current instruction sheet. This tool keeps a Rajasthan TET row inside a larger TET record: a 3.5 x 4.5 cm photograph at 10-50 KB and a 3.5 x 1.5 cm signature at 5-30 KB, both JPEG. The record also carries a 200 DPI photograph variant.

Because the same record serves many teacher tests, the list includes rows that do not belong to Rajasthan. Pick the Rajasthan row, then confirm the numbers in the current REET notice. A stored preset is a convenience, not an official requirement.

Cropping the portrait

Stand in front of a plain, light-coloured wall and ask someone to take the picture from eye level. Keep both ears visible, look straight at the camera, and avoid a strong shadow on one side of the face. Crop to the 3.5 x 4.5 cm frame with the head centred and a small margin above the hair. Do not use a beauty filter or sharpen a soft image until the skin looks artificial.

Signing for REET

Use a black or blue pen on plain white paper, sign in your usual running hand, and wait for the ink to dry. Scan or photograph the paper straight on, then crop to 3.5 x 1.5 cm. Keep the complete signature inside the box; a chopped final stroke is a common reason for a rejected upload. If the scan looks grey, clean the background rather than increasing the contrast until the strokes break up.

Workflow

  1. Select the Rajasthan TET row in the tool.
  2. Upload the portrait and position the crop over the face and shoulders.
  3. Keep the photo between 10 KB and 50 KB and confirm the JPEG format.
  4. Upload the signature scan and crop it to 3.5 x 1.5 cm at 5-30 KB.
  5. Download each file, reopen it, and check the pixel dimensions before attaching it to the form.

Rejection checks

Look for a coloured background, a cut-off signature, a file that is too light or too heavy, and a portrait that has been stretched from a square crop. The portal may show a small preview, so inspect the downloaded file at full size. Where the REET instruction sheet differs from the stored row, the instruction sheet wins.

Tool limits

The tool does not alter the background, improve a blurred scan, or decide whether your photograph meets the identity rules. It also cannot confirm portal acceptance. Keep the originals and the downloaded JPEGs until the application process is over.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

Short answers for the questions users ask before trusting the result.

The stored Rajasthan TET row is 3.5 x 4.5 cm, JPEG, 10 KB to 50 KB. A 200 DPI variant is also present.

The stored Rajasthan TET signature row is 3.5 x 1.5 cm, JPEG, 5 KB to 30 KB.

Choose the Rajasthan TET row, not the CTET or another state row. Then verify the figures in the current REET instruction sheet.

Yes, if the face is sharp, evenly lit, and taken straight on against a plain background. Avoid filters and heavy shadows.

A cut-off stroke, a coloured background, or a file outside 5-30 KB are common causes. Re-sign on white paper and crop the full signature.

No. It creates a file at the stored preset. The Rajasthan portal and the current notice decide whether the upload is accepted.
