Etsy recently updated its fee structure for sellers and Effective from December 1, 2022. Here is a summary of the changes:

  • The listing fee for each item is now $0.20. This fee is charged when you create a new listing or renew an expired listing.

  • The transaction fee is now 6.5% of the item price, plus any applicable taxes and shipping costs.

  • The payment processing fee for "Etsy Direct Checkout" is now 3% + $0.25 for each transaction. This fee is for the cost of processing the payment through Etsy Payments named Etsy Direct Checkout.

  • There is also a new advertising fee of 15% for items that are promoted through Etsy's advertising programs. This fee is optional and only applies to items that are actually sold as a result of the advertising.  If you use Etsy Offsite Ads then Etsy charge your for ads.
